The perfectly soft and tender sugar cookies with just a little bit of crunch. That is what these best ever sugar cookies are like.

The Best Ever Sugar COokies - Mirch Masala

I honestly cannot take much credit for this recipe. AJ got this recipe as a Secret Santa gift at his old work place several years ago and we have been using this recipe for making sugar cookies every Christmas since.

I have tried a few other recipes before this and have also eaten my share of sugar cookies. I think these are by far the best I have ever had.

I wish I knew who gave this recipe to us, so that I could thank him/her for this awesome recipe.

The recipe makes about 5 dozen cookies. Roll them out and cut them out in any shape you want. You can enroll your little helpers for this. V was so excited that I was cutting out star shapes and he climbed on his Learning Tower to start helping me Smile

He wanted a rolling pin just like mine. He wanted me to dust his “work area” with flour just as I was doing and he wanted to cut out shapes. Only thing, he would roll it all back up again and start cutting it again!

Well, in short, we all had fun making these and I hope you and your family does too and can make a tradition out of this.
