V loves peanut butter and sun butter. Some days when he does not eat his lunch all that well, I want him to eat a heavier snack, preferably with some protein involved in it. He does not really get the concept of a dip and scoop and eat. He asks for a “dip” and does dips in it, but unless it is ketchup or something, whatever he dips into does not really get onto the cracker or the vegetable. That is when I devised this cracker sandwich idea.
This is one of those non-recipe recipes. But that doesn’t meant I don’t share this awesome snack idea with all of you.It is easy to put together, he loves to eat it and a toddler with a full tummy means a happy mommy!
This will be a great addition to your kids lunch box as well.
Use any favorite cracker and spread some peanut butter or sun butter on one side of one cracker and your kids favorite jam / jelly to one side of another cracker. Make a sandwich with the peanut butter and jelly side facing each other and revel in your toddler enjoying it!
