Merry Christmas!!
I hope everyone’s all ready and set for Christmas. All Christmas shopping done, presents wrapped, cookies made and waiting for Santa. We are almost all done here and are going to make ourselves some hot cocoa and make our gingerbread house listening to some of our favorite Christmas music.
This year, the kiddo has been so excited for Christmas and has been looking up in the sky all day to see if Santa has made his way to Seattle yet. He was so so excited that I had to promise him that I will make him some of his favorite hot chocolate and we can make the ginger bread house and sit by the tree to read some Christmas books only if he napped, for him to finally settle down a bit and nap. I love it that he is so excited, as this is one of my favorite holidays!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy this day with friends and family and people who matter in your life. Here is a simple dessert to serve, while you enjoy that nice frothy mug of hot chocolate!
How to make Santa Hats:
You need: Strawberries and Whipped Cream (sweetened or not, based on your personal preference)
How to make it: Wash and trim the strawberries. Spray some whipped cream in a small circle on a serving platter. Place one strawberry on it, upside down. Spray a little more whipped cream on top of the strawberry, to make a Santa Hat.
A super simple idea, that is bound to wow your guests at you holiday party and is sure to get your little ones very excited too! It is also a fun food to make along with your kids. They can help with spraying the whipped cream or placing the strawberry on the whipped cream base.
