A healthier, lighter, yet delightfully flavor packed snack with a BOOM to it! Perfect for game days, movie nights, family game night or when you just need an excuse to snack! (Psst, there is a contest to win - details in the post!)

#BringTheBoom on Game Day with BoomChickaPop

Are you one of those people (just like me!) for whom, it doesn’t matter what the occasion is – super bowl, game day, movie nights, viewing parties, the most exciting part is the food?!? I most certainly am!! I plan and plan these parties with the food centered around all the other activities. And I have always noticed that, it doesn’t matter, how many elaborate and exotic dishes you make and put on the table, as long as people have a beer in their hand and one good snack that they can just scoop up and keep eating without worrying how they eat it, everyone is happy!! And nothing can top that snack better than popcorn!

Ever since I got to know about all the nasties that are there in the microwave-able popcorn, I have avoided them like the plague but I have always craved for a good popcorn, especially the gourmet kinds with lots of different flavors that you can dive in to (just like the ones you get in those good restaurants!) In my quest to find that ultimate popcorn was when I stumbled upon this brand of popcorn from Angie’s popcorn , BOOMCHICKAPOP and boy! did they come with a BOOM or what? (Psst, there is a contest to win - scroll down!)

BOOMCHICKAPOP is certified gluten-free and use non-GMO ingredients in all their products. That’s a great great win for us, trying to keeping our food as real as possible.  What I also love about them is when you turn that bag around to check for ingredients. They keep it very simple with only a handful of ingredients per bag with nothing artificial. And to top all that, the flavors are just amazing and will make you want just one more handful.

For this super bowl, even though our home team is not there, we still will host a party and even though I don’t have the entire menu list planned out, one thing I know that is definitely going on the snack table is a few bowls of BOOMCHICKAPOP. I have seen that Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn, the White Cheddar Popcorn, Mixed Nuts and some dried cranberries make for a very fun snack combo. You can put them all in separate bowls and have the guests make their trail mix, or should we call it BOOMmix! Don’t forget that six pack to go along with it!

I love popcorn but I'm like you, stay far away from the gross store-bought kinds with all manner of weird things added in. We've been making our own but I do like those fun flavors too - so glad to know about this product! I will definitely look for it next grocery store run because popcorn is so perfect to have on hand for snacking (for all ages) and especially for the Superbowl this weekend!
