Popcorn Cereal Trail Mix - perfect snack for movies!

The holiday season is upon us and it truly is the most wonderful time of the year.

It is a time to slow down (even in the midst of all that holiday shopping and baking), meet with friends and family and spread the holiday cheer around. Everyone has their traditions during this time of the year and whatever they are, I am sure, everyone looks forward to it.

We usually have a few holiday parties to go to. We host a Christmas Eve party at our place. The usual gift shopping and holiday baking is there. We also have V’s birthday in December which adds to the happy madness. Along with all this, we try to go around in the city to catch some of the magical holiday activities happening around here and maybe also catch a couple of movies at the theater. With V growing up, there are slowly some movie options that are opening up now, for all of us to go as a family. And this year, I really want us as a family to slow down a little, after the crazy few last months we have had and enjoy our time together and bond as a family to make more memories!

We are all so excited for SING© movie coming out in the theatres on the 21st of December. V loves animated movies with animals living like humans – dancing, singing, driving around, going shopping, you know what I mean. I think it adds in to his imagination of how he pretend plays with his toys and stuffies (stuffed animals) and it must be wonderful to see something like that on the big screen. We have watched the trailer over and over, the last few days and he just cant wait for it. I think he is a little more excited about SING© than Christmas and Santa Claus, if I may say so.

I have partnered with Honey Bunches of Oats® and SING© to bring you this delicious Popcorn Cereal Trail Mix made with Honey Bunches of Oats® to add a twist to your favorite movie theater snack, making this your new favorite. I roasted some peanuts and added Honey Bunches of Oats® to it and roasted together with some salt and paprika and tossed in the popcorn. It is that simple. But the sweetness of the Honey Bunches of Oats® and the paprika and the saltiness in the popcorn all brings in such a diverse set of flavors with each handful and you and your family will stay full for a little longer to maybe finish some last minute holiday gift shopping after watching the movie.

If you are also as excited as we are about SING©, then the SING© sweepstakes will excite you!
